My students have a paper due on Thursday this week. On the assignment sheet I accidentally typed "Thursday, 4/9" (right day, wrong date) and have been getting a lot of questions back about it. One of my students then actually wrote back: "You said it is due Thursday, but that is kind of ambiguous. Could you
please type back to me the full due date, including day, date, and time." FTR, I wrote back: "Thursday, April 10, 2008 by 11:59:59 pm EDT."
